Help with dry hair

in Hair Type 3
I'm having a problem with dryness and the majority of the problem is concentrated on one section of my hair. Here is the picture. You can't miss it cuz my hair is sticking up LOL

I was hoping someone could give me recommendations or any homemade recipes for dry hair. I was on Motowngirl.com and found these recipes. Have you guys ever tried them? http://www.motowngirl.com/content/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=10&Itemid=12
I was thinking the honey/olive oil conditioner but I am afraid the honey will feel too sticky on my hair.

I just try to add a little more oils and moisturizers to that area. And it also gets an extra dosing of product.
TIGI MM, QB AOHC, KCCC, MJ CM, MJ BBC, JC WDT, CD HM, CD MHH, DC OneC, Veg Glyc, and Jojoba oil.

I have the same issues in almost exactly the same spot. I have done the EVOO/honey mixture and it was too sticky and hard to rinse out (and I really didn't notice a difference). However, using just straight EVOO with a plastic cap for one hour then cleansing and styling per my usual routine has worked wonders for me. HTH

OK its 12:16am and I'm in my kitchen making a cheesecake and I'm standing here with EVOO and honey in my hair :laughing7: My husband thinks I'm crazy. Damn this stuff is sticky

I would try a moisturizing DT (not protein) with heat. Just a thought, can it be leftover relaxed hair?

Maya, no its not leftover relaxed hair. I think it doesn't help that I chopped off my hair incorrectly in that section. I didn't even use the correct scissors LOL I will definitely do this again next week.
