Guess what I did...I did the BC this weekend!!!

lovinmylocslovinmylocs Posts: 137Registered Users
I finally did it...I bit the bullet and cut off my hair. I still have a few straight ends that need to be worked out but this is it. This is my hair...I'm excited, nervous and scared all at the same time.

I also tried henna (this was a big weekend for me) and I have to say that I love this stuff. It is the best thing ever! My hair is soft and full of moisture. I did a DT after the henna because while it left my hair soft it was rufffff. After my treatment my hair was soft and clumping like nobody's business. I had curls in my crown, which is no curl land. I can't wait to try my first twist out!

Congrats!!!!!!!!!...what type of deep conditioner did u use after the henna?

I use ORS Olive Oil Replenishing Pak - only I have a 24 oz. bottle. My hair loves this stuff. I deep condition about once a week since my hair is dry, dry, dry. This is great with heat, but I don't always have the patience to sit still. After I co-wash, I coat my hair, put on a shower cap, put on my hat and let it marinate. When I take my evening shower I just rinse it out and then I follow up with SheaMoisture.

Pretty simple. But my hair loves it.

It's way too late for that. LOL I get the products delivered at work so I won't miss them. I'm so silly at work I line them up on my desk and look at them all day, day dreaming about using them. I'm a hot mess....LOL I'm going to slow down on my pjism...but it's harder now that I'm natural. HA!
