Protein in 50/50 Giovanni

generositytgenerosityt Posts: 245Registered Users
I asked my husband to get me an organic conditioner and he got me 50/50 Giovanni, I told him about the silicones and alcohol but I forgot to tell him about the proteins too. I don't know for sure if I am protein sensitive or not but I might be because since I stopped using conditioners with proteins and silicones all together my hair feels much much better. Have anybody who's going shampoo-less been using it? do you think it is ok to use it, especially that it's organic protein?

I used this conditioner and it didn't work at all for me.. now I'm sure my hair is sensitive to proteins. My culrs got so upset, no definition, no moisture what so ever.

If you have access to a Whole Foods store try Nature's Gate Aloe or Herbal Co or Awapuhi condishes these are all protein free and are of natural ingredients.

I didn't like the Giovanni 50/50 conditioner either. A conditioner I'm really liking lately is vo5 tea therapy vanilla mint.
3A curls, fine texture, thin (it's always been that way). A few inches past shoulder length and would like it to grow very long.

    Latest routine:
Sulfate-free shampoo: Jessicurl Gentle Lather Shampoo, Elucence, Bedhead Superstar
Conditioner: Jessicurl Too Shea conditioner, DermOrganic Masque, Redken All Soft
Style: DermOrganic Argan Oil Treatment/Serum, Kinky Curly Knot Today leave-in, Kerastase Nectar Thermique, Oyin Hair Dew
