CO washing helps with cowlicks?

Now, this could be a fluke but the last two times I've remembered to pay special attention to my cowlick area(today included:-o )when CO washing, the cowlicks were better blended in. Has anyone else found this?
2A/2B, fine, normal porosity

    P.S. And for some reason, it also feels really good to do a little extra rubbing in that area ;)
