3c male here and im a newbie so HELP!
hello board im a 3c newbie here with very very thick hair african american by the way... my hair curls very tightly in some places to the textbook corkscrew i guess other areas have been marked with different textures i suppose, and the curls in these areas are a little relaxed and or straight. all i want to do is get the info that is going to help me bring out the very best in my curls. when my hair was shorter i had no problems getting my hair to curl up but i did it the wrong way with pertroleum and heavy greases and such but now that my hair is a BAA(BIG ASS AFRO) I cant seem to get my curls to fall like you guys so HELP! OK CURRENTLY I have stopped using shampoo and only use panteen conditioner you know...the one in the brown bottle for women of color. i leave half of it in and i comb through my hair with a very wide comb to detangle... i only did it once and i was happy i could get a comb through the jungle with relative ease. the curls were minimal and mostly at the ends of my hair...i want to know how to get the spiral or at least a well defined curl throught my hair...so all i did was condition and comb then rinsed half way with only minimal curls...i dont know what to do next what products to buy or any thing to help me out...im a guy so i am highly logical in nature so if someone can tell me exactly what to do step by step to bring the curls out better i would greatly appreciate it... start from the shower to the styling of the curl thanks alot community and im glad to be here!
