Devachan/NYC Stylist recs

Hi -
I went to Devachan 2 1/2 years ago and had Lorraine give me my fist Devacut (I figured if I am jumping in I might as well do it all the way). It was amazing but it cost so much that it is obscene even if I get my haircut next to never.
I am looking for a recommendation for a great stylist that is either at Devachan or in Manhattan that is Deva-trained. I am kind of desperate for a cut right now so if there is someone who can see me before the 19th that is great. I don't want to pay more than $300 with tip.
Any recs would be appreciated!

hi, sorry to intrude. I just signed into the web site to ask this question: do you know anything about this Marvinstylist at Devachan? is he good? was your friend happy?
I also see Julie, and I second this. I know she pays $125 before tip.

Hi, I was just wondering how you would know it's a devacut? Did the stylist once work for the salon, or are you just saying that it's just as good? Thanks!
Curly1234 - There are plenty of curlyhairstyist that don’t work for Devechan but are trained in the same technique. You can call a salon and ask if they have a CURLYhairstyist on staff.
Yep, she was trained in the Deva cut method. Devachan has a list of Deva-trained stylists on their website, that's how I found Casey (they used to have this list, anyway, I haven't looked at their site in a long time).
I actually go to someone different now. I moved and The Beehive isn't convenient for me anymore. My last cut was with Leilah at Medusa Salon in Park Slope. It's not a Deva cut but I'm really happy with it. They use Deva products so I don't have to worry about what they're putting in my hair. It was $68.
