Any good Salons in Ca that aren't in Beveryly Hills!?

I was hoping someone could tell me of a good stylist who's reasonable in central Cali. I read so much on here about NY, but never hear about California.
TIA

Well, first you must define "reasonable." (The word means something different to everyone!)

Here in San Francisco, there's Madu Salon, which boasts Devachan-trained cutters. (I have an appointment there in early January and it's $95, so I'm expecting perfection!) Another salon that was recommended to me in San Francisco is the Pure Beauty branch on Haight Street (ask for Christopher). This will be my next option if Madu fails miserably...

But you know, you can always check out the salons listed right here at Naturally Curly:

Good luck -- and if you find a good one, let us all know!
3a and strictly CG since August 2007. Porous and on the fine side. No to magnesium sulfate and glycerin. Yes to protein! Favorites:
    CO-WASHES: Suave Coconut
CONDITIONERS and LEAVE-INS: Mop Top Daily Conditioner, KBB Nectar, Aubrey GPB or Island Naturals, Robert Craig, Any Jessicurl
    CURL ENHANCERS/CREMES/MOUSSES: KCCC, JoiWhip
GELS: Fuzzy Duck, B5 Design, MGA Scultping, BRHG

Not sure how far north you are, but I have finally found a stylist I love in Sacramento, I'm actually going to see her tomorrow! She has just changed salons, but I'm assuming that her price for a haircut is still $40. I found her on here, actually. Her name is Beverly and her number is (916) 213-2408.

Thanks guys. By reasonable I mean $50 or less. Some may think you get what you pay for, but personally I feel most of the time stylists charge way too much. My husband is a mechanic and doesn't charge people as much as some stylists do and he does more work. If he does charge that much it's for more than just an hours worth of work. We have kids and in my opinion they come first, so I need someone who isn't out to charge an arm and a leg along with a pint of blood!

Just to update...I saw Beverly today and she has raised her price to $50 for cut, wash, and style....She's so worth it though!
