PJ of the worst kind

I'm a product junkie, I admit it. In my arsenal I have EMBC/EMBS, TJ nourish co and 'poo, Desert Essence italian red grape condish, GF curl and shine leave in, JC nourish and shine and C&S, alagio, biotera gel, HESMU mousse and gel, HEBE, JCRR and [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Jessicurl-Confident-Coils-Styling-Solution-p-116.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=jessicurl-confident-coils-styling-solution]CCSS[/buylink] trial bottles, Sallys generic PM sculpting foam and PM the co, Activate poo, co and curl gel, AOMM, La Coupe sleek and shine co, Bain de terre flax gel, Aussie 3MM, AOHSR, Aussie aussome volume gel, AVG, NG asian pear and red tea co, 3 Suave and VO5 cos for cowashes, Frederic Fekkai curl cream and wave spray, SheaM, KBB hair butter, cream, and milk, B&B curl cream, and LOOB.

I LOVE buying products. I avidly peruse the products review boards and the CurlProduct reviews. I even have an ever growing list (6 pgs so far) of products I want to use. I'll buy, buy, buy BUT once I actually have them sitting in my bathroom or once I get them in the mail, I'll just sniff it and set it aside. Why? Because 1) I'm still trying to get rid of some products from my pre-CG days and I just feel guilty using the hot new item because I know I'll just put the other bottle aside to collect dust and 2) I have this thing where if I start to use a product, I HAVE to finish it even if I don't like it. It's like my PJ is goading me while my frugality (is that even possible in a PJ?)...and SO  ... is scolding me at the same time. I feel like I need a support group or something lest I turn into a weird old lady with millions of hair product bottles in the house instead of cats. :goofy:

Welcome to the PJ Club! You sound perfectly normal to me  ! I bought 2 tubs of LOOB when it first came out. It worked great for me for a few times, then it did nothing. I sold them on the swap board. Several weeks ago I bought another tub when everyone kept talking about it. I've used it once.

Sometimes I'll buy something just because everyone is buying it. I do manage to stay away from the really expensive stuff, though. Oh .. wait .. I did buy a big bottle of CK. I vow - everyday - to use what I have before I buy another thing (except when Jessicurl has a $5 shipping charge!) but I never can make it last. Thankfully, hubby takes anything to help me out (and he has straight hair, go figure). I bought a HUGE bottle of LA Wet Look gel and he's dutifully using it up for me (I used it once).

Curly hair is expensive, there's no doubt about that!

Well, my PJ made me buy some stuff during the recent CurlMart sale & I wish I would have known then what I know now.

I bought My Honey Child [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/MYHoneyChild-p-1-c-51.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=myhoneychild-banana-creme-conditioner]Banana Creme Conditioner[/buylink]. I didn't know this is a 10-minute deep treatment. The bottle says
Leave On For A 10 Minutes.
I swore it was an short term rinse-out after reading this on CurlMart
Gently work through hair and leave on for a few minutes.

Maybe I was so taken by the possible vanilla & banana scent, if that's what it indeed smells like. Maybe I was all excited about a sale. I know I was excited about the pitch
The [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/MYHoneyChild-p-1-c-51.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=myhoneychild-banana-creme-conditioner]Banana Creme Conditioner[/buylink] penetrates deeply to create bounce and add moisture, body and shine to dry, blow-dried, colored and relaxed hair. ...

Though my hair isn't blow-dried or relaxed. It does have some bleach growing out from a year ago.

I may or may not open/use this, though the temptation of the possible scent may wear me down.

    BAD bad PJ! :angry7:

lazy loops, I'm sure you'll be fine. (: The MHC condish you ordered doesn't seem to need all that time to at least do SOMETHING.
