    Aubrey Organics Honey Suckle Rose

It doesn't give as much slip as BB, but it's twice as moisturizing. Its much cheaper and actually much better.

2-3 tsp. of honey would help with the lack of slip in this one. I second that Lustrasilk Shea conditioner rec. Great conditioner but I don't really consider it to be as deep conditioning in comparison to AO HSR or the BB Quenching Conditioner. It would be the cheaper option, though. $2 whole dollars and .49 in my neck of the woods.

Tip: I usually get more moisture from the Lustrasilk by using a heat cap, although it says in the instructions one is not necessary. My hair comes out butta smooth!
3c-4a; Protein Sensitive(forms of wheat, keratin, soy and anything "hydrolyzed"). My hair hates coconut oil and jojoba oil(sometimes).

I've used it 3 times and it's pretty decent! Don't get me wrong I get a sensual hit when I use the John Masters -- the smell, the feel, everything about it is so cool -- but LS for $2.99 is a great detangler, and you can mix in oils and honey. I only keep it on for 3-5 minutes.

A lot of the curlies also like TIGI Bed Head Moisture Maniac. I have never heard a bad thing about it. In fact Teshon says it is very versatile from a co-wash, to detangle, a leave-in, and a DT all in one. So, this may be worth a shot if you want something that you can run to the store to pick up.

I am a newbie with it as well. I used to pass it by and pick up other stuff. So finally I jumped in to get it.

I have used the BB [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Blended-Beauty-Curl-Quenching-Conditioner-p-372.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=blended-beauty-curl-quenching-conditioner]Curl Quenching Conditioner[/buylink] and still have a jar and a half of it. It is a really good conditioner, but it is not the absolute best around. So, you will be able to find something to replace it.

One last thing....Trader Joe's Nourish Spa and Elucence if you can get that locally are two more really good ones to give a try. Especially if you don't have any protein issues.

I've been using this stuff for about a year now (started using it when I was relaxed). I use it as a rinse-out condish/cowash. When I was relaxed, I used it as a deep conditioner on occasion - but I usually mixed it with another conditioner. It makes a good "base" for adding oils or honey. Plus, it's hella cheap, CG-friendly, and protein free!
