Who's in PJ JAIL?

I am. A short month ago, I thought "PJ" was pajamas. Now I know.

If you are in PJ jail, please answer these questions.

1. What, if any, products do you own that you haven't tried yet?

2. What, if any, products do you own that you've only tried once or twice?

3. What, if any, products do you want to bust out and try?

My answers...

1. I own, but have not yet tried, Herbal Essences Humidity Defying Gel and a sample of Phyto Defrisant balm.
2. I've tried Auro Hypoallergenic gel, Shea Moisture Shea Butter Leave-in Conditioner, Jamaican Mango n Lime Cactus Leave-In Moisturizer (Rasta Locks), and FOTE Aloe Vera Gel once.
3. I am dying to try Redken Smooth Down Butter Treat and [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Oyin-Honey-Hemp-Conditioner-p-860.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=oyin-honey-hemp-conditioner]Oyin Honey Hemp Conditioner[/buylink]. Close runner-ups are unrefined shea butter and Locking Gel from Rasta Locks.

I missed PJ jail by the skin of my teeth! I chose 400 hours of community service, durign which I am to help misguided curlies back to the curly and narrow path. I think I may have to be resentenced, as I recently bought contraband.
African Pride mayonaisse--good stuff! has cones, but my hair like them. lots of oils and butters, no real evidence of mayo in it.

Aussie Moist condish--smells soooo good, my hair is really soft, adn I can comb it while dry (if I wanted0

Pantene Daily Moisture renewal---can't go wrong! Looove pantene. It's been a staple for me since I was 12.

Henna w/ paprika--after a few uses, if done right, it turns the hair really red. I've only been using for a short while, and I don't think I'm doing ti right. Not letting it sit for 12 hours.

Sorry for the long post!

OMG pacammi!!! You just totally cracked me up with that response  why the heck didn't I think of community service!!??!! 8)

I am totally in PJ jail, but I will have to answer the questions later because I am at work now.

    Me too

I just received my latest curlmart order today and will be receiving a Jessicurl order shortly, but, I have officially put myself in PJ jail. But, swaps do not count, right!?

    1. What, if any, products do you own that you haven't tried yet?

I am not including the products I just received today, but, I do not have any that I haven't tried otherwise.

    2. What, if any, products do you own that you've only tried once or twice?

I have tried them all more than once or twice.

    3. What, if any, products do you want to bust out and try?

Right now nothing because I have everything that I wanted to try on the way or in my closet

I need to put myself in PJ jail for monetary reasons, not, unfortunately, because I own ridiculous numbers of products. I'm usually pretty good about using stuff up before I buy more. But I was looking at my finances on Quicken over the weekend and I realized that I'm going to be going into the red towards the end of this month. At $22 a pop for every transaction that overdraws my account, that's seriously scary!

    1. What, if any, products do you own that you haven't tried yet?

It's only samples/trial sizes, so not AS bad, but the new Boots curl creme, [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/DevaCurl-One-Condition-p-55.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=devacurl-devacurl-one-condition]devacurl one condition[/buylink], and the hamadi shea leave-in. I *think* that's all...

    2. What, if any, products do you own that you've only tried once or twice?

ISO bouncy creme is the only full-size one. I have samples and trial sizes of rockin ringlets, [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Jessicurl-Confident-Coils-Styling-Solution-p-116.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=jessicurl-confident-coils-styling-solution]confident coils[/buylink], hair cleansing creme, weekly deep treatment, suave coconut conditioner, and i think a few others that i've not had a chance to give a full-on try yet.

    3. What, if any, products do you want to bust out and try?

Not so much products but combinations. I want to see how the jessicurl products work with my curlkeeper (which i just bought a liter of, so feel obligated to play with). so far i'm loving the gelebration spray with it - between the two, it's the perfect amount of light hold and frizz control for me! tomorrow i'll be seeing how it works with [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Jessicurl-Rockin-Ringlets-Styling-Potion-p-100.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=jessicurl-rockin-ringlets]rockin' ringlets[/buylink], just for fun. am dying to try the hamadi shea leave-in, but when i'm doing product test-runs i like to try one new thing at a time so i know what's working and what isn't!

i am a hard core PJ. i dare not be released as recidivism is rampant in my addiction. it is really bad. i have pics of my product closet and they do not even show the cases of boots white stuff i am selling!! i am eager to try my honey child samples and some other obscure things sitting in the closet. would like to try aura gel but cannot find this, and some of the hair teas mentioned by others in PJ jail. i think i am a hopeless criminal without even much desire for rehabilitation. luckily i live within my means but my DH complains about the UNTIDINESS of my counter area in the bathroom....

I *need* to be in PJ jail, but I broke out and I'm on the lam baby! :P

I don't have any products that I haven't tried, and the only product I have that I only tried once was the LLL Coco Light. But technically it's not mine anymore because I just shipped it off to another great curly!

I'm going to order the Curls Herbal Tea Co., CK, and maybe Curls Revival (if I can find out more about it). I'm interested in trying Mia Simone's souffle, the herbal tea rinse, and the LLL Coconut Milk (not the Coco Light!). Last night I ordered some Jessicurl oil blend for hair growth and for soft hair, and 2 of the island fantasy bath fizzes! :hyper:hyper.gif

I would be in PJ jail if it wasn't for my family. I give them anything I don't like or can't use and they get tickeld pink. I only give products about two to three times to work. After that, someone in my family usually takes it off my hands. Although, it matters little to my DH. He thinks I should be locked up for being a PJ anyway.

I am, and here are my answers.

1: Honestly there are too many to list. Ones that jump out are 3 things by Long Lovely Locks - ginger gel-o, coconut hair milk and curly custard, Jane Carter Solution cream, [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Curling-Custard-p-778.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-curling-custard]KC Curling Custard[/buylink], ORS olive creme conditioner, Aveda Elixir, Elucence shampoo, Qhemet hair tea, a Kiehl's moisturizer, Abba defining gel/lotion - and there are more - I would have to look in the closet to be sure. I'm a BAD PJ.

2: Again, I'd have to look to be sure, but here are a few I remember: Miss Jessie's [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Miss-Jessies-Curly-Meringue-p-576.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=miss-jessies-curly-meringue]Curly Meringue[/buylink], Biolage Gelee, Curls Hair Tea conditioner, Citre Shine pomade, Pantene Curl Scrunching gel, Aveda sap moss shampoo, Kiehl's leave-in conditioner, ORS Carrot oil, [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Oyin-Handmade-Greg-Juice-p-190.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=oyin-greg-juice-nourishing-herbal-leavein]Oyin Greg Juice[/buylink], Aubrey Organics Island Fantasy shampoo and conditioner, and I know there are more!

3: I want to experiment with Jessicurl again (that's never worked for me up to now), want to bust out [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Miss-Jessies-Curly-Pudding-p-578.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=miss-jessies-curly-pudding]Curly Pudding[/buylink] (it's been a while since I used it), haven't used S-curl in a while, haven't used Sebastian Molding Mud in a while, haven't used Fantasia IC Silk Tea activator or Care Free Curl activator in ages, nor Wave by Design lotion and spray, all the Curls stylers, and again, there are tons of things I want to try but never get round to. Since I have only used product once or twice in the past couple of months, everything seems interesting.

Amneris, I am so surprised that you're in jail too! You've been keeping it so simple w/ your products that I didn't think you'd have so many! And I was getting worried that I was the only one who had stuff I didn't even try yet.

Cutietootie, I don't know if you can stock up on stuff you already use if you're in jail. I tend to think yes!

Also, on my wish-list is a brush. Not sure if that counts as a product either.

ok--i have really done it now. I am in PJ jail for a totally justified crime. you will understand after you see my INSANE HAIR album. I even made a different password for this because if anyone besides a fellow curly sees this album it could mean the ruination of my career. i washed my hair earlier and after it dried I wanted to document the coloring process.
email me to get the pw for this album if you want to see east west at its worst. this is why i use products!!!

Yes, I am, I turned myself in this morning :(

    1. I have a whole small of box of approximately 10 products that I have not tried yet (not including samples). I'm at work, so I can't list them right now....

    2. Again, too many to list, but the one I remember off the top of my head is the Angell.

    3. I honestly can't think of any product right now that I *must* try, but give me 5 minutes - I'm sure something will pop up!
