You and your daughter have beautiful hair! :) And her eyes are gorgeous, too.
A wonderful mix of coils, curls, corkscrews, and kinks.

Thanks guys! Both of my girls have pretty eyes- I'm so jealous. I might not have the pretty color, but I've got the appleseeds 8) .

    So its 3c, right?

Sometimes I don't know what it is. There are a lot of 2c wiggles, but I don't post that because so many people misunderstand 2c. My hair underneath (especially in the back) is tiny spirals and fluff that sort of just grows east-west, so sometimes I think it might be 4a.... but then I can finger swirl it into something more 3c, that hangs down, so maybe not.

I agree. Your hair and your daughter's hair is really nice. Your daughter's color is amazing. I know girls who would love to have natural color like that. And I agree with the majority... her eye color is beautiful.

You are definitely a 3c(with maybe alittle 4a thrown in there). Your hair, especially in the back, kinda reminds me of my hair. Some areas corkscrew, and other are looser s-waves.

I like the new pics!! It definitely looks like you mostly have tight 3C corkscrews with some 4A in the very lower back.. And you are kind of a hair cousin to Shyygirl - she has larger curls but the shape is sorta similar...

I have thought before that Shyygirl's and mine looked similar, but I wasn't sure until I got pictures to compare.

So far I have a pic of my 3 y.o.'s hair and some pictures of my flatish 1st day hair. Later I'm going to add some 2nd day hair (my fave) and so on.

    pass is curlsnwiggles

    I hope it works!

ETA: Woo hoo, I'm having too much fun, added pictures from today to show my finger curl 'do

I think I've found my hair twin! Your hair is lovely as is your daughter's. What is your routine?

Love the hair Rainy! I no longer have to wait for the changing of the avatar to ogle your cutey pics. ;)

I hear you on the hair typing. It's confusing when your hair does so many things. I give up on trying to figure that out, but rather focus on keeping it healthy.

Thank you guys! Hair twin, hair cousin... I've got hair family!

    My routine is:

    *1/week ACV, then DT with TJ's nourish+olive oil+honey
*Every other day I rinse or co wash (TJ nourish), and put some Nourish as a leave-in. Then out of the shower I add some Suave green gel mixed with a little jojoba oil over the top. Then I either sqeeze it in all over (3 min hair), or sqeeze then do finger curls (15-20 min hair). I air dry. If I have crunch (depends on how much gel vs. oil I used) I scrunch it out with some jojoba on my hand when my hair is mostly dry.

I think the olive oil is too much for my hair in the summer, though, so I'm going to start trying other oils in my DT.

Aw, thanks! I'm really hoping for her that it stays that way... I'm sure she would appreciate it when she gets older. Sometimes I have the urge to bring her with me to a salon and tell them to give me the same color, but I'm afraid dye would damage my hair, and it grows sooooooo slow. Hers grows even slower, though... you could see the length there and I've never done any triming except to shape and cut off the funny little hair balls she gets at the ends of her curls.

ooh, both of you have nice hair. It's hard to tell hers from the pic, but yours to me looks 3c without any 4a - and very well cared for. Great cut, too.

Wow rainyday, your hair is looking a lot like my newgrowth that's coming in! That first picture looks just like my hair, all crinkly. I didn't know they were called wiggles. I'm so pleased to have a hair cousin :) Your hair is very pretty, and it gives me hope that I can rock that style once I chop all my relaxed hair off.

I cut it all off in '96, but didn't take very good care of it, and had to cut off a lot of damage over the years. I'm trying to see how long I can grow it now that its healthier...
