Nexxus Humectress

Hey ya'll. I'm wondering about this conditioner before I take a risk in buying it. If any of you have tried it, I'd like you to tell me about your results good or bad. This stuff is rather expensive and I'd prefer to be safe than sorry.

I've used it on and off for about the past 15 years. It's alright, I guess. I never loved it. Other people speak really highly of it...so I continued with it, hoping it would provide some extraspecial benefit to me. But it never really did. I still have a half empty bottle here. I just checked and it doesn't appear to have cones...if you're CG. Blech, it's OK, nothing spectacular. It's very heavy...and it does not detangle well at all...no slippage.

I used to use this conditioner when I was natural over 10 years ago. It never did anything spectacular that I noticed. Some people swear by this product as an HG, but to me, some cheapies like V05 work just the same or better. I never got the hype with Nexxus products anyway. IMO, you won't be missing out on anything if you don't make the purchase, unless your inner PJ is calling you :)

I'm with curlilocks and spiderlashes. I used it once because it got so many good reviews and didn't notice it being any better than your average conditioner. It wasn't bad just nothing special. Save your money girl!

I used this when I was relaxed. It was okay.....nothing spectacular, but it did help in strengthening my hair.
A wonderful mix of coils, curls, corkscrews, and kinks.

I used to use a generic version of this from Suave... Suave Humecant Conditioner, I think. That was cheap, maybe you could try that.

I use it sometimes, it does give me nice slip. You can buy a generic version (works just as good as the real thing). If you want to try it, you can get it at Sally's in those black and white bottles. The generic is like $3.49 and it's actually called Generic Nexxus Humectress. HTH.

I used the generic version as well. I really liked it, specially the smell.

Thanks you guys all your comments really helped. I know about the Sally's Generic (i love Sally's Generic it's as great as sliced bread). The only reason why I didn't get it is because they changed the formula and added better stuff to it. I think I'll try it anyway though and only spend 5 dollars as opposed to 16.

Preccie ladies. ( sorry, my cousin and my abreviation for "I appreciate it").
