Curlier Than Thou

Ever get an attitude that curlier hair is better?? Is it our hair swelling or our heads? :afro:
I'm just going to assume it's weather changes and humidity.

It is better! And the best part is, we can choose to go straight when we want...but why?! Curlies have more fun and our hair is a conversation piece.

Thank you...lately I've been thinking that some people at work would look much better with curly hair. I used to envy straight haired folks but now I pity them. :laughing9:

Not really. When my hair was really curly, I wanted straight hair. I think that is partially because when I was 13 my hair got really curly all of a sudden (I got a "puberty perm"), and I didn't know what to do with it. Now that my curls have loosened into loose waves, I miss curly hair. I wouldn't say curly hair is better. I like it when it's humid and my hair is uniformly wavy. It's so easy to style and looks carefree. Otherwise, my hair is straight. There is not enough wave to wear it wavy, so I blow it straight. I like both styles on me, and sometimes I put my hair in rollers or use a curling iron to create a curly style. It's all about personal preference. I think there are pros and cons for all hair types.
