Returning to the curls

My mom bought me Curly Girl when I was a teenager and struggling with my hair. I tried the routine briefly, but it didn't really work for me (I'm sure it was my crappy haircut). I've been drying my hair straight for the past 15 years. Back in August I had a wrist injury and was unable to blow dry my hair so I started letting it dry naturally - which is a frizzy mess. But I've realized how I hate spending an hour drying/straightening my hair. I made an appointment for a deva cut at the Cala Renee Salon on Monday and I'm so excited. I'm hoping she can help me love my curls, and I'm looking forward to getting some tips here.
