Does the hair control its owner or vice versa?

For instance, my hair does whatever the hell it wants to do. A lot of products don't really make a big difference. But I don't let it take complete control, its presentable. But I have begun to just give up on trying to completely control it, since ANYONEs hair will problably not completely be undr control completely.

Does anyone just completely give up on their hair and let it do what it wants or do you need/like complete control of your hair yourself?

I didn't vote because I kind of guide my hair. Ultimately, I know I will never control it; but, I refuse to let it control me

I do not like to go around with no products in my hair, yuk! But I don't fuss with my hair once the products are in there. I don't expect my hair to be perfect. I live with the curls going a little wacky, and I live with a bit of frizz. I prefer to have hair that looks real.

I voted " needs to have products", but it will never be completely in my control. It certainly does have a mind of its own 8)

I didn't vote, because I absolutely need to moisturize and pamper my hair to keep it healthy, but as to how it looks, I don't care as long as it is healthy and I actually usually don't use products other than conditioner and oil, and sometimes a dab of humectant pomade when my hair is dry.

we need more choices on the poll! :D
I could vote both ways sorta. I have day when I don't put product in and let my hair do what it wants and it really doesn't look bad just poofier and less defined than I like. Then there are days when I use product but I don't let my hair control me! I have resigned to the fact that my 2c/3A hair is never going to look like my brothers beautiful 3b/c ringlet

I'm after perfect curls, and I think it's beginning to control me. I got layers in order to cut down the pyramid head, but adding layers adds problems. I'm going to grow them all out and grow it long. Then I can relax and let it do whatever. It will all just hang behind my shoulders and I won't have to think about it.
