Knot Today formula difference

Hello!
I got some [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Kinky-Curly-Knot-Today-p-207.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=kinkycurly-knot-today-leaveindetangler]Knot today[/buylink] last week, and I think I received the older formulation. The KC website does mention a "newer, thicker" formula.
My previous bottles that I got elsewhere were botles that matched the ingredients list on the CurlMart site. My CurlMart bottle is different:
Mango fuit extract, slipper elm, marshmallow root, lemongrass, cetyl alcohol, behentrimonium methosulfate, citric acid, phenoxyethanol and natural fragrance.
I had figured that you just got a batch of the older stuff in, but I wanted to double check how much there is. The old stuff is OK, but not as nice as the newer one is.

Playing with my hair is a hobby. Fluffy, fine natural 4a. Goal= Healthy, beautiful hair that retains its length.
I *think* that the one you listed is the current one. It is thicker than the one I have, and KC's website says that the new one is thicker.
Although I love behentrimonium usually, I do like the other formula (the one you listed) better. I don't hate the thinner one though.
I had just wondered if there was extra "old" stuff left (the mango one), and perhaps that it was easy to give to CurlMart since they have heavy traffic.

The bottles we have on the shelf right now list these ingredients:
Mango fuit extract, slipper elm, marshmallow root, lemongrass, cetyl alcohol, behentrimonium methosulfate, citric acid, phenoxyethanol and natural fragrance.
This batch was rec'd less than a week ago, so I'm guessing it's the new formulation.
I will update CurlMart. And I'll report back when I get some info from KC.

There were, however, some bottles with an old label that went out from her factory a few weeks ago. "This is a mistake from our silkscreen company who used an old plate to screen a recent batch," says the company's owner.
These are the correct ingredients, and have been the ingredients for at least a year.
Mango fuit extract, slipper elm, marshmallow root, lemongrass, cetyl alcohol, behentrimonium methosulfate, citric acid, phenoxyethanol and natural fragrance.
We're so sorry about all this, everyone.

If the formula is a year old, the KC site needs updated so that it doesn't say "new thicker formula." :laughing9:

Should I expect to see a difference in future orders? I do like the product.
