Reconstructors?

Do any of you use a reconstructor every month or so? In the past I used Aphogee every 8 weeks and I'm considering adding this into my regimen again. Let me know if you have ANY suggestions.

I use Joico K-Pak or ORS Hair Mayonnaise protein treatments every week, followed by an oil treatment to counteract the drying effects. I think you only really need it for chemically processed, damaged or chronically dry hair. If your hair feels soft and healthy and isn't breaking. you can skip it.

I probably don't need it after all. I know this may sound weird but I use ORS Hair Mayonnaise every day. I used to do that a few years ago and my hair was always healthy and never had split ends or any damage whatsoever. My hair usually handles protein well unlike some curlies. I may use one during the summer since we'll be going swimming.
