pregnancy and not so firm belly

Of course I want to be in the best shape possible before I do get preggo...but I've gained and lost weight a few times and my tummy has the whole "under the tummy pooch" thing going on no matter what I do. If anyone has this problem and you've had a baby or two, did your tummy become firm like a basketball or did it look different? Just curious.

Well, my tummy wasn't exactly rock hard before I got pregnant, but it did get hard when I got big pregnant! At first it was just mushy- then at about 4-5 months I would say, it got hard.

My tummy has never been very firm even when I was really skinny. Now at 6 months pg, it's pretty firm but not rock hard or anything (unless I'm having a BH contraction). For the first 4 months or so, I felt like I look fat, but the belly is definitely getting firmer as it grows.

Unless it's hanging down to yor knees, yeah, I think it will firm/round up. Although mine looked like the letter B for the first three months both times. :laughing9:

My soft belly pooch would round out in pregnancy, but it never really got firm, unless I was having a contraction.
