Favorite drugstore/beauty supply store products?

My favorite hair gel was reformulated and no longer does anything for my hair :( I can't seem to find any good drugstore hair products. Are there any out there?? :)

If you have found any great hair products that are available in a drugstore or beauty supply store, what is it? What does it do for you and how do you use it? And what is your hair type (I'm a 2/3a)?

TIA! Sorry if there has been another thread like this recently, I haven't been on the hair board much these days.

I have recently started using Biolage Conditioning Balm. I always used it back in the day when I straightened my hair. I never realized it was CG, so I haven't used it in years. It has great slip and I use it for co-washing and to condition.

I have used BRHG for a long time and it is my HG gel.

I have seen both of these at Target and Beauty Brands.

    What is BRHG?

Biosilk Rock Hard Gellee. It used to be a very hard hold gel, but was recently reformulated. The hold isn't as strong now and it has more protein.

I really like the Naturelle Hypo-allergenic gel from Sally's. It's medium hold and very liquidy and easy to distribute. I also really like the Alagio Crazy Curl balm. I get mine at Publix (grocery store), but if you go to the Alagio website, it tells you what other stores carry it. It's a gel-like consistency with medium hold. It dries VERY crunchy but scrunches out well. Gives me good shine and frizz control. There's some threads on it in the review boards.

Thanks Bailey! I've actually never looked at the review board, but I'm looking now, and it's really helpful!

I use Herbal essence Set me up gel (Walmart or any drugstore). I found the trick to using it too..... I only use a small amount since my hair is fine and thin, scrunch it in and diffuse part dry. Let it sit while I put makeup on etc.., then I turn upside down and scrunch out any crunch. I make sure I scrunch hair to scalp, turn right side up and scrunch a bit more then diffuse til dry. I get great hair and it last all day long. It's even holding up in the WIND today.
