This will sound weird, and I've never tried it myself, but some women on a makeup board I visit have said that they use toiletseat covers as blotter sheets. Yes, that's right...toiletseat covers. Those covers they have up on the wall in public restrooms for sanitary seating. They steal the paper covers and cut them up into usable sizes to use as oil blotting sheets.

That's why there never are any when I need them!

I have used them as blotters. But instead of stealing them, I rip out most of that middle flap that would hang in the toilet and use that to blot. They do work well. :) Of course, that only works when I'm in a public restroom, not at home.

You can also use the type of tissue paper used for gift bags. It's really cheap and you can cut them up, too.
    I'm a 3b, with 3c underneath.

Used to be CG, now I'm not. Using Suave Aloe & Waterlily shampoo & condish, JoiWhip, BRHG, Suave Aloe gel, Aussie Tizz No Frizz, and anything else that looks good!

I use blotter sheets. Many different brands. The cheapies work just as well.

i use clean and clean but someone here pointed out they contain mineral oil, but they don't seem to break me out.

i also like the ones by boscia but i have a hard time finding them now...they're super thin and don't have anything on them. i usually feel like i have to use two at a time.

The Body Shop makes some that has a small amount of tea tree oil in them. I have oily skin that can break out if I inadvertently touch my face with my hands, so it's nice to have the tea tree to combat breakouts.
    Variation of 3B/3C curls.

Amazed that I finally found a method that works for my hair! Diffuse until 60-70% dry, then let air dry for about an hour. Scrunch and leave it alone!

I teach in an elementary school and always eat lunch at my desk, so I blot everyday with the standard, government issue paper towels - you know, the coarse, brown ones. They work great and don't cost me a cent! :laughing9:

I use the Clean and Clear blotting sheets. They work really well and I never leave home with out them! Everytime I pull one out, my husbands asks if he can have one too! Great stuff!
