I like the comments Bollinger made before introducing Ahmediwhatsisname. The man is a petty tyrant and he is determined to make the west bow to his will.

He did get a real laugh when he said there are no gays in Iran. Well, no, you killed them all...I believe there were 3 executed last year.

I've been doing a lot of reading lately on Islam and in spite of what is being said, Islam does say that unbelievers must convert or die. And if you convert from Christianity, you can be killed for converting back. You are to convert all unbelievers at the point of a sword.

What I find astonishing is that it is still being promoted as the religion on peace. Since when do Christians, Jews or any other faith burn buildings and declare that anyone making fun of their God should die? Islam actively proclaims this....anyone remember the Danish cartoons? The murder of Van Gogh in the Netherlands due to the film he made that showed some disturbing things as Islam...and the man who killed him SAID that it was for Islam.

Sheesh! And we think that as a whole, they can be civilized?

LOL! I love it. I'm trying to remember what Dennis Miller calls him....something to do with Aqua Velva.....but DM is pretty irritated with the guy and with Columbia this week.

I thought Bollinger's remarks were a little harsh, considering he invited Ahmadinejad and took the liberty to preface his speech -- which pointedly avoided issues about his policies -- with a string of attacks against him.

Not that I'm saying Ahmadinejad isn't a slimy, twisted man, but Prezbo could have at least waited until afterwards. :/

ITA agree, I mean I think his words were harsh and rude. If you are going to invite this person to speak at least treat them with respect. I mean we all know he is LOCO :confused2: But let him make himself look like an ass!

I mean this is the country of free speech and democracy right? So lets act like it. And I dont think it was handled well at all.
