I have learned so much from this forum and gotten more skin and body/age conscious. As a result I'm taking better care of my skin, hair and body at 54 than I ever did in my life. Now using 10% hyaluronic acid on my face, L'Occitane Immortelle -- just bought my second L'Occitane Immortelle Very Precious Fluid SPF40 off ebay for $41 including shipping (paid $54+ tax at Sephora for the first one).

I'm into shea butter products for the entire body. Tri-luma faded my facial dark spot. I just started on bio-identical hormones. I'm taking biotin, silica and flax seed gel for my hair. What's next? Bring it on--I can't wait!

Playing with my hair is a hobby. Fluffy, fine natural 4a. Goal= Healthy, beautiful hair that retains its length.
Hear that crash? It's me falling off the CG wagon.

I think that it is the older you get the kinder and gentler you are to yourself. You don't mistreat and beat yourself up like you did in your 20's. I just turned 39 this weekend and have also become conscious of what I put on and in my body. Not only that I make time to keep my body in shape. I lift weights for increased muscle mass and stronger bones. I try to keep my waist measurement within 35 inches. My family tends to carry weight in the midsection. And I am so looking forward to turning 40!!!!

How soon did you see results from the Tri-Luma? I got mine a week ago. I know, I know, I'm very impatient. My skin is looking better, but I wish I had of started my routine in my 30's. I feel at this point in my life, I will be doing good just to keep my skin from deteriorating more. I haven't seen any good results with the wrinkles & sagging I already have. I feel I am just holding them at bay. :laughing9:

I just got "Shapely Secrets" which is a motionless exercise program. I've been out of town & found it at my front door when I arrived home this evening. I'll let you know if this program works to tone the middle age muscles. It's only 7 minutes a day. If I can't work that into my schedule, then I am going to give up.
