I got an advertisement for PB Kids in my email today. I'm so tempted but damn these prices are crazy (for baby clothes that might be worn 2x..)

I especially like the dresses w/ the smocking.

Reminds me of the ones I wore 30 some years ago!

Have you seen Target for kids? I pass by the kids dept and see some pretty cool stuff. Has to be cheaper.

To me those clothes don't look that different from other baby clothes you see in much cheaper stores--certainly not enough to justify that price tag.

oh yeah! Love Tar-jay - We are regulars.
Also have made a killing at our local thrift store where I've found Hanna's, gymborees, pbkids, ralph laurens - all brands I love but don't want to pay for.

I had to be dragged out of Gymboree when I saw these wiener dog clothes. I about died. I wanted ALL of them! It looks like they're on sale now, so I think I'll be going back to Gymboree this weekend. :happy2:

I found if you usually wait on Gymboree....they will go on sale after two or three weeks. I quit buying anything from there at regular price because of this.

    Gap's the same way.

Aww those are the cutest clothes!!!!! Since I don't have a boy, I haven't seen the weiners!
I agree with waiting on Gymboree. I also get gymbucks from gymboree classes and buying a certain amount. I am actually awaiting a gymboree shipment now! on a side note - they fit my daughter the best of any brand because they have enough room for her thick and tall frame.

They have girl wiener dog ones too, but I think the boy ones are cuter. I was so happy when I saw them, usually boy clothes are so boring compared to girl outfits.

Those are cute, but they grow out of clothes so quick, its not worth it to buy expensive stuff. All my boys clothes are 2nd hand. I knew alot people who had alot of boys and they were all too happy to dump all their clothes on me. that first year he grew so fast, he didn't even wear them all.

So far my son's are nearly 2 and 4, and the only clothes i've ever had to buy was shoes and a winter bundle coat thing. Starting to run out of hand-me downs so soon I'll actually have to buy clothes for my oldest :(

    I'm spoiled i know.

I'm totally eyeing the merino wool stuff. I use cotton diapers and having a wool soaker is wonderful for wicking away the moisture. If only it came in black instead of navy. *sigh*

I'll keep an eye out on craigslist.

Oh definitely! I went  when I saw their original prices. It's so ridiculous to charge $30-40 for a baby outfit. That's how much I spend on me, and I don't grow out of clothes in 2 months.

Nor do you spit up and have diaper explosions on them.

I am going to send my husband the link to the new PBK line. He is like a high society woman when he shops for Xander. I think he's just happy that he can buy X. the things that he couldn't afford as a kid. I'm just happy that I can spend all of my money at Target while he buys the extra fancy stuff.
