Just a note to say "Thank You".

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all the CG and especially Surburban for all of the good hair advice and comments over the past few weeks. I'm not going anywhere so keep it coming. :laughing9: I'm so happy because I've transitioned about five times since 1998, when my daughter was born. It's been a struggle every since. I would manage to stay natural for an average of 3-4 months and then out of frustration relax my hair. One day my husband said to me "You need to stick with either straight or natural". In my heart I really wanted to be natural but could never find the right products until NOW so :wav: to you all.

Here are the combos that worked for me so far:
1. [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/CURLS-Curls-Milkshake-p-884.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=Curls-Curls-Milkshake]Curls Milkshake[/buylink]+AO MM(Surburban's tip)
2. John Masters Citrus Detangler+AO MM(I think also Surburban's tip)
3. Giovanni DL+AO MM

It took me some time but I finally got the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/CURLS-Curls-Milkshake-p-884.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=Curls-Curls-Milkshake]Milkshake[/buylink] to work as a leave-in. I didn't like it too much when I first ordered it but after some good CG advice its a staple for me.
3c-4a; Protein Sensitive(forms of wheat, keratin, soy and anything "hydrolyzed"). My hair hates coconut oil and jojoba oil(sometimes).

Playing with my hair is a hobby. Fluffy, fine natural 4a. Goal= Healthy, beautiful hair that retains its length.
Hear that crash? It's me falling off the CG wagon.

i would also advise when you have time that you search on various topics in the 4a and 4b forums and just read up. i learned so much going back and reading old posts when i cut my locs even though i'd been natural for years. there's such good info out there! good luck to you!!
