Has anyone tried this? I've heard good things about it on the other boards. The ingredients look good and the price is great! I'd like to be able to have another nice conditioner to supplement the BB Curl Quencher.

TIA!

    Hi,

I've tried this - the old formula - on both my 4a/b hair and my daughter's 2a/b hair. I didn't find it to be particularly moisturizing, and it didn't provide any slip for either of us.
    YES WE CAN!

i liked the old formula...made my hair very clumpy which was great for curl definition. the new formula is terrible! makes my hair feel hard. i bought a liter and now it's just collecting dust...

I actually really liked it. It is very thick and gives great clumpy curls :) No its does not have the BEST slip. But its in my product rotation (the old formula) I purchased like 4 bottles!
CURRENT PRODUCTS: Oyin Honey Hemp, Honey Wash, Burnt Sugar Pomade, Shine and Define, and Whipped Pudding. Also loving HH Hello Hydration and HENNA!

I guess I'll cross that off the list. I should just stick to what I know. TJs Ultra Nourish Co is great and should help to make the BB Curl Quencher stretch a bit. TJs is soooooo far away from my house, but I think I've convinced my co-worker to pick some up for me.

The upkeep of my hair is beginning to get a bit expensive! 2 years ago I would have never considered spending 14 bucks for 8oz of anything. Now half of the products in my rotation are about that pricey. Yikes!

i have both the old and new formulas. neither one is spectacular for me. its really thick, i tried cutting it with suave like my tigi oatmeal and honey that's also too thick, but the B2B still wasn't to my liking. www.salonsavings.com has the old formula for like $2 something.

Amen to that!! I've been experimenting with a couple of lines and it hasn't been cheap. Sorry, I haven't gotten around to the Back to Basics yet. I'm a newbie. :dontknow:

I feel you about the cost of these products. I'm looking for a cheaper gel to use now however, I do not like the ingredients in the cheaper gels. I already use the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/CURLS-Curls-Milkshake-p-884.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=Curls-Curls-Milkshake]curls milkshake[/buylink] (thinking about going back to my abba nourishing after it runs out). I do not want to have to start buying an expensive gel. Either I'm going to make my own gel (flaxseed or jojoba jelly) or find a way to cut the IC Fantasia. Maybe add aloe vera gel and water to it. Just trying to cut down on price:)
