Brazillian Keratin Treatment - a Q

This treatment sounds fab, but one website that I went to gave a description of how the process works. Since the Keratin coats your hair, the good moisture that we want/need to penetrate out hair, like oil and conditioner, won't be able to? I can't see how the hair will be healthy afterwards if it has been deprived of moisture for so long.

And are the products that you are to use on your hair post-treatment full of cones?

    I did a search with keywords "Brazillian Keratin Treatment" in the straigtening section, and I got tons of hits. Do you know what keywords I should type?
