super easy to make, but tastes amazing! chocolatey, crispy, salty, basically everything you could want!!!! very very addictive!

2 sticks butter
1/2c. sugar
1 bag semi sweet chocolate chips

preheat oven to 350
line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil going up and over the sides.
line bottom of cookie sheet with saltines in a single layer.
in small sauce pan, melt butter on medium heat. when it's melted, add sugar and heat while stirring until sugar is dissolved.
pour butter mixture evenly over the saltines.
put in oven for 8-10 minutes or until it starts to brown a little.
take it out of the oven, and poor chocolate chips over the top evenly. put back into oven for 1 minute.
take it out and spread chocolate to coat saltines. put in freezer for 15 mins, or in fridge for 30 mins.

break into smaller pieces.

I just tasted something like this here at school! A teacher makes them with graham crackers, and she adds pecan bits to the top. I knew I had seen something like it before, but I couldn't remember your thread!

Now, I know how to make them since I've tasted them - though I can't eat them right now since I'm starting the weight loss thing

She used the mini chocolate chips and didn't even freeze them, so you see bits of chocolate, bits of pecans, and the toffee is coating the entire cracker.

I asked her how she made them, but it didn't come together in my head until I looked back at your thread.
