Biotera Styling Glaze

I can't find any reviews of the Biotera Styling Glaze on the site search...Just wondering if any 3a curlies with thick hair have tried it. I am curious if it would be good for frizz control but with a lighter hold that it doesn't weight my curls down. I am curious if I could use it for days of less humidity like in the fall/winter.

Bumping just in case, But I think that I'm going to buy it anyway. It's not too humid today so I might try it out today.

water, butylene glycol, polyquaternium 4, acetamide mea, urtica dioica(nettle) extract, arnica montana flower extract, ppg-5 ceteth-20, glycerin, citric acid, ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, propylene glycol, tetrasodium edta, methylchloroisothiasolinone, methylisothiazolinone, dmdm hydantion, alphaisomethyl ionone, coumarin, limonene, linalool, fragrance

Ugh, I had to type them out. I couldn't find any listings anywhere. Anyway, I have it drying in my hair right now with a little SheaM as a leave in. I DT'd last night/this morning and rinsed then leave in then the Biotera Glaze. It's really runny. I could probably put it in a spray bottle so I could apply it without wasting it like I did today. Smells just like all the other Biotera stuff, florally-perfumey. I'll let you know about the hold and frizz control when it dries.

Well I think I like this stuff! It has a medium hold, just as it states on the bottle. It dries a tiny bit on the srunchy side, but that is easily scrunched out. I think I accidentally missed a spot yesterday whilst applying and that area was poofy and somewhat undefined. The other areas were well defined and relatively frizz free. My hair seemed curlier as a result of the thinness of this glaze, not because it was curl enhancing. It was pretty humid where I was also...a birthday dinner for my MIL at my BIL & his GF apt. 3rd floor walkup....yeesh. I am trying this again today with a bit of [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Jessicurl-Gelebration-Spray-p-101.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=jessicurl-gelebration-spray]Gelebration Spray[/buylink] for curl, and some [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Jessicurl-Too-Shea-Extra-Moisturizing-Conditioner-p-105.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=jessicurl-too-shea-extra-moisturizing-conditioner]Too Shea[/buylink] for leave in, in that order. I plopped for about 15 min, which is less than I did yesterday, so we'll see if the extra curl thing was a fluke. Oh, I poured the glaze in a spray bottle and sprayed it on this time instead, I think that may be a bit better for reducing waste, but had trouble getting to the crown because I wash/apply upside down.

How does it compare to the Styling Gel, echokitten?

I mean, if you've tried it, which I think you did...

CoN green, HE hello hydration, burt's bees super shiny condish, & KCCC.

OH...duh. It's got less hold, but not that much less. It's much thinner...almost watery and barely any crunch when dry and the same shine as the gel. It's almost as thin as [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Jessicurl-Rockin-Ringlets-Styling-Potion-p-100.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=jessicurl-rockin-ringlets]Rockin Ringlets[/buylink] really(but with a hold, which RR did not for me). I like that level of hold for cooler temps with a heavier leave in, because it would prevent frizz yet not weight my curls. It didn't flake on me and I purposely used a lot today, just out of curiosity, which sometimes the Biotera gel does if I'm not careful. I have never used [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Curly-Hair-Solutions-Curl-Keeper-p-28.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=curly-hair-solutions-curl-keeper]Curl Keeper[/buylink] so I can't make that connection, I can only assume that [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Curly-Hair-Solutions-Curl-Keeper-p-28.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=curly-hair-solutions-curl-keeper]Curl Keeper[/buylink] would do the same for frizz control maybe with less hold value?
I hope that answers it for you...

Thanks! I need hold, so I'll stick with the Gel. I like the consistency.
