Eiiikkk! Biosilk reformulated another excellent-rated gel!

I'm just wrapping up my summer research series, and yesterday I noticed new labels on the Biosilk bottles. So I investigated, and the beloved Silk Therapy Gel that made me curls amazingly clumpy, volumeous (but not big-hair-like), and curly was reformulated. I tried the new formula today, and so far, I have skinny, flat, almost-straight hair. :banghead: (loving these new emotion icons!)

Why, oh why, must they tease us! After they changed their RHG formula, I found this one (not as much hold but excellent results all the same), and now it's going away! :sad2:

I'd never used this gel before - in fact I don't recall ever seeing it! I hope they leave my Smoothing Balm alone.

What's wrong with these people?? There ought to be a law! NC should send out the Curly Hair Police and arrest them -- why can't they just leave the good stuff alone???!

I swear I'm just going to go product free and wear my hair up everyday. And I'm going to stop wearing make-up, because I can't find just the right cleanser. Out goes the bra too. Push up feels weird, underwire hurts, no padding leaves me flat. Shoes - don't even get me started, ....so barefoot it is. Food, it will all kill you. Aluminum in deoderant, or just stink. :cussing:

Anybody want to join me on a deserted island? :cya:

It's maddening. I spend more time reading frickin' labels/reviews than actually shopping. :banghead:

Why does it have to be so difficult?

What would we do without Laurabeth? Instead of asking myself WWJD?, I'm chaning it to WWLD?!! :salute:

:blob6: hopping up and down in frustration.

I am with you 2happy! I feel like I am curl stepsister. I look at some of these photos and feel soooooooooooooo darn inadequate. I can not find products that work well all the time if my life depended upon it. Of course I change products every 2.5 seconds too so I may be part of the problem. Then the small boobage issue - yep! Shoes, not so bad there but I understand the makeup issue - I am mid 40s and have started to break out. Things are sagging where they shouldnt be - there is no help for that!!

Off to the island we go!!

Ditto here! They know me at waaayyyy too many stores as the Ingredient Lady because I sit down on the floor and copy them all down or photograph the bottles to get the list.

*Giggle* You made me feel really good here. But, with WWJD, (going to get deep here), He could do nothing without the Father doing it through him. I don't have deity-based powers to be able to focus my energies through you so that you could rest. But it does make a clever quip!

Thanks for all the chiming in! Let me tell you...this gel was perhaps the best one I'd ever found with the most amazing results, and much like the Biosilk RHG (which now has another new formulation that left my hair a stringy mess), it crashed from an excellent to a poor rating by reformulating so very poorly.

Ok, I'll stick with Jesus on everything, EXCEPT my hair - I'm coming straight to you lady
