search by member name?

I know we can search by member number, but I was hoping we could search by the member name like the old board. I can remember somone's name most of the time, but not a member number.....LOL

I'd like to second this request (thanks, avocadomom )!

I had asked about this a while ago (soon after the new board), but got little response, so I thought I was the only one who had an issue with this. I tried using a work-around; i.e., searching for the member name as part of a thread, but that only works if the member name is actually used in the thread (hope that makes sense). So, my work-around didn't work.

Anyway, I would also love if we could search by member names again.
