Is my burn infected?

I've never had any type of infection from any cut or burn, but almost a week ago I burnt an area on my forearm from one of those tin foil pans that had been in the oven.. and now today it's all bubbly looking and weird. It's still dark.. Will it go away?

It's probably just blistered from the burn. They can take awhile to form blisters. I'd put some Neosporin on it and keep it covered. How big is the burned area?

Yeah, that's probably normal blistering. Some burns can take a while to fade completey, though... I have one on my inner arm that I got in May and I can still see it. I have very light skin, however.

Burns take a while to show their peak, because the skin is still burning. I read once that blisters bigger then a quarter, or a or a burn bigger then a dollar bill should be checked out by a doctor. Just try and keep it clean and bandaged to protect the skin.

Signs of infection would be...swelling, tenderness, redness and drainage.
