Flares of PJism

Ladies...as you know, I live in Raleigh. I was online checking out the Blended Beauty line (for the very first time) on the verge of making a purchase, when I decided to see if there were any local vendors. So, after doing a quick search, I realized that they have a location in DURHAM!!!! I'm on my way out the door right now to purchase the conditioner and HNS!!! I'm so excited :D

On the other hand, I've spent more than 100 dollars during the past month on new hair products. It has got to stop...but not until I try BB. I'll keep ya'll posted.

Are you talking about Sistas Place? I just ordered from them this morning, including some Blended Beauty samples! I have the Happy Nappy, but havent used it in some time. I love the smell though. Let us know what you think!

That is Sistasplace yes? They just sent me an e-mail announcing they now carry some Curl Junkie products and offering a 10% discount. I swear I almost bought the stuff....and I don't even use Curl Junkie!! (but I could)

Playing with my hair is a hobby. Fluffy, fine natural 4a. Goal= Healthy, beautiful hair that retains its length.
Hear that crash? It's me falling off the CG wagon.

Yep, SistasPlace :D They were very nice and very helpful, and yes, they do carry Curls products now.

I just co-washed and applied it with a little [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Blended-Beauty-Curly-Frizz-Pudding-p-376.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=blended-beauty-curly-frizz-pudding]curly frizz pudding[/buylink] over the ends. It's still wet, but I do notice a lot of shrinkage. Now that it is 80% dry I've pulled it down into two low pony tails in order to stretch it out a bit. I do the low pony thing with any product combo...it shows more of my length. My hair does feel ultra moisturized and I'm hoping it will continue to feel this soft once it's 100% dry. I'm going to a jazz bar tonight, so while applying the BB I was thinking, 'i must have a lot of faith in these products.' Usually, if I have some where to go, I won't switch up my routine. Hopefully I won't be dissapointed.

    Ladies,

I didn't want to update until after I had a chance to go out in the humidity, and dance all night :D

Before I left the house, I was more than pleased. My hair was moisturized, defined and shiny. It gave me a pretty good hold...more than what I expected for just a creme. After walking several blocks to get to the bar and dancing all night, my hair shrank maybe an inch, but retained its shape and definition. I got about 6 compliments and I felt cute all night :)

I'm in LOVE! BB is no joke. It not only defined like my usual styling gels, it also moisturized and provided a defense against the humidity (which by the way is 87% tonight).

My camera is out of town with my fiance, but when he gets back in town, I'll be sure to take pics. This is by far one of the best lines I've tried thus far. We're most certainly PJs...but I'm hoping HNS has put an end to this search (and bank account draining habit).

    What all did you order?

Yeah, I need to curb my habit fast! I orderd Blended Beauty's Quenching Conditioner and HNS plus Curls Asian Tea conditioner. We'll see how they work out!

Day 3 and I'm still a Happy Nappy! The humidity was outrageous today, but my hair still looks amazing. I'm cheesing from ear to ear.

Missmonie, I can't wait to hear about your experience with BB (and the concert) :D
