Deep Conditioner Feedback

So I was thinking about using my Organikah whipped shea butter as a deep conditioner but wondered if it would actually penetrate into my hair rather than sit on top. What do you ladies think about this? I was thinking that I would need a "creamier" based product rather than a "butter" based product, but really not sure.

Any thoughts?

Not sure of the exact ingredients, but this sounds like a bit too much for a DT. If you want to use it that way, it would probably be best as a pre- shampoo DT. I've found that too much shea butter can block moisture from my hair and pull out the curl, so I try to use it sparingly- the amount you'd have to use to get good DT- type coverage would probably be overwhelming.

If you have it around it's certainly worth a try, esp. with heatcap, but I would not buy it for that use. If you do, please post how it turns out.

Hear that crash? It's me falling off the CG wagon.
