Wow. This stuff really cleared up my skin.

My skin broke out really bad for some odd reason, and my beloved Aveeno just couldn't get it under control, so I went in search of an acne fighting cleanser. I bought the new Clean & Clear Advantage cleanser and lotion, and WOW is all I have to say. Within three days my skin looked great. I haven't even been wearing make up, my skin looks so good! My skin did dry out a bit around my nose, but it also just turned REALLY cold here, so that may be the culprit, too. Great stuff!

MzShvy, What type of skin do you have? I have really oily skin, but I can normally keep it under control with my regular skincare routine. But in the last week, I have broken out worse than I ever have before! So I'm looking for something to clear everything up ASAP!

I have combo skin. My t-zone gets oily, but mostly my forhead has the oil slicks, the rest of my skin can dry out pretty easy. Right now, though, my whole body is a dry flaky mess because of our stupid weather. I definitley don't think this will make your skin any more oily. Oh, and mine came with a free sample of Clean and Clear Oil Blotting Towlettes! :D

Poopsie, did you try this stuff in the end...? If so, did you like it?

How is the scent? I got their Morning Glow Moisturizer about 2 months ago and I dont like how it smells....really wanted to like it because it had great reviews...also got a little sample of Kiehls Drawing Paste, hopefully that will work.

Actually no--for some reason, the day after I posted this, my skin started to clear up. It's back to normal now, but I will be buying it for future skin freak-outs, though. I'm sure next month, around this same time, the same thing will happen again.

My hubby had a sudden breakout, and he NEVER gets zits, so he tried this stuff, and he was all cleared up within a week. I think I will definitley be keeping this around.

Umm...I don't really know how to describe this. It just smells like a cleanser. It doesn't smell like the morning glow stuff, I didn't like that either. Just to clarify, this lotion isn't moisturizing, it's an acne clearing lotion, so if you are looking for a moisturizer this wouldn't do you much good. Their Dual Action Moisturizer is good though!

Well I bought some and man alive did it dry my skin out! I had scaly patches on my face which whilst they didn't itch or hurt, did not look nice. I think it's too strong for my skin, or maybe for everyday use? I guess it could be a 'in severe emergencies' type product.

On another note, I've tried Ultra Bland by Lush and was suprised how nice it is. It's an oil based thick cleanser which I was scared of using given that I've got oily skin, but it actually made my face feel really nice and didn't make it more greasy. Just soft.

(*nb the only reason I tried it was because my bf randomly bought it for me).

I've also been thinking about trying a Dermalogica cleasner but don't want to fork out the £££ if it doesn't work for me so I'm hoping they do trial sizes.

Man, I'm verge on the obsessive when it comes to what I wash my face with!

I just use it in the morning, followed by the Dual Action Moisturizer.

Thanks for the info Twirly Girl! Actually, that might be a good thing for my skin, especially for the latest freak-out session that my face had. It was just so incredibly greasy!

Okay, I finally tried this stuff (once a day for three days), and I had a horrible reaction to it! My face got really scaly and dry, and got red like it had been burned. And my face looked like I had aged about 10 years in the last week! I have never had a reaction like this with any other product.

The funny thing is that my husband, who has oily and sensitive skin, has been using this once a day for over a week, and his skin looks great. It has really reduced the blemishes on him.

    Same as me then!

For the past 3 weeks I've been using some Dermologica products and they are probably the best thing I've ever used. I'm using the Special Cleansing Gel and Active Moist Moisturiser which have kept my skin really clear and calmed down the oiliness. I'd highly, highly recommend them, you can get trial sizes if you're a bit unsure intially.

I went to my local beautician who stocks Dermalogica. If you go to the Dermalogica website they have a list of stockists though.
