lining with minerals. Tips?

BrioBrio Posts: 1,432Registered Users
I normally use a pencil to line with, but I've been playing with some liner samples I got from meow cosmetics. Does anyone have any tips? Do you prefer wet or dry? What kind of brush do you like to use? Has anyone tried the liner sealant? etc. etc.

thanks!

I'm pretty sure Sephora has something similar but this brush is worth it's price. I've used same one for 3 years to "push" shadow liner up against my lash line.[/img]

thanks. That looks similar to the brush that meow cosmetics recommends using. Do you use the liner wet or dry with this kind of brush?

I'm going to DC tomorrow and will probably hit the mall in Pentagon City that has a Sephora. I'm going to look for one of those flat liner brushes.

I've been playing. Green is not really my color, but they threw this in as a freebie sample. Right now I have a cheapie angled, flat liner brush. I actually have on a couple of colors. I wet-lined this morning with a more traditional color and then decided to play with the green this afternoon. The green was applied dry.

That green looks nice (I threw mine away go figure).

Both. I use it for black liner with sparkles on top lash wet or try. TM Finishline is what I use to wet the powder liner for a "sharper" look and I know Sephora has something like it.

I also use the brush to line bottom lash with taupy brown shadow.

good to know you like the liner sealant. I'm adding that to my shopping list.

    thanks!

I was tempted to toss the green myself, but figured I could at least play with it. I feel that greens and blues often compete with my eye color too much.

I bought a similar (cheaper) brush from Target and ended up throwing it away. The McEvoy brush is super stiff and lays down a great line.
