    There is no 3d :? I believe someone made up this hair type in an attempt to classify a certain type of coil or spiral not already identified/pictured in Andre's system. I would not get too caught up on typing your hair. Your hair is bound to have several textures, which will change as it grows. However, you look primarily 4a. As long as your hair is healthy, what does it matter? 8) Seriously, 3d/4a... how much different can they really be?
    4a/4b... at this point, Henna has to be my friend, cause I've tried EVERYTHING else!!

    Henna, Afro Detangler, KBB hair cream, Vitamin E oil, Qhemet AOHC, AND no more letting my hair dry curly... darn knots are driving me crazy!!:happy7:

    Yeah, I don't know. I saw the girl's hair in the link you posted and to me she looks like 3c/4a. I also revisited the Hair Types under Curl411 and based on the description it seems like 3c. I think if people keep obsessing about types we will soon have 3defghi :lol::lol: May as well call it 4a!
