Lately my feet have gotten so rough it's like you could grate cheese with it. Anybody know of any good creams that will make my feet soft like a babys butt. They use to be that soft for soooo long, I don't know what happened.

Oh, have I ever got a recommendation for you! Kerasal! It works GREAT!! When I got married, my DH one day let slip that he didn't like my "country-girl feet". LOL I never even took notice of my feet...it's true-I grew up a barefoot country girl. Girl, the skin on my feet was THICK!

I found Kerasal and it works wonders! My feet are finally soft. They sell an exfoliating moistuizer lotion that works even better than the little tube of treatment. Check it out!

I really reccomend PEDIKUR. Its a set I got from QVC I dont think thta you can get it anywhere else. The set comes in 2 parts, a lotion & a cream. The lotion contains a gentle acid that safely removes tha hard skin, you have to soak cotton wool in the solution then wrap it aound the hard areas of your feet then wrap the whole foot in cling film - that what I do and it keeps the solution next to the skin and doesnt dry out. You have to leave it on for 20-30 mins then comes the gross bit -

:laughing9: you then use the provided scraper that has no sharp edges and gently scrape the hard skin. Really gross but strangly satisfying - you wouldnt believe how much comes off - it leaves your skin unbelievable smooth then you apply the cream.

Its quite expensive but worth it.
currently using - John Masters Citrus & Neroli Detangler - Re-coil - Joiwhip & John Masters Evening Primrose shampoo when needed.

Do you find this stuff in the pharmacy section or over with the body lotions. I really need to start taking better care of my feet now that I am getting older, and I can't afford regular pedicures. Why is it when you get older, your toe nails start growing weird?

I get Kerasal in the foot care section of CVS/Duane Reade near the foot powders, corn removers, etc. It works SO well, especially coupled with a foot scraper after a shower!

The Kerasal does work really well. I also suggest getting a "pumi bar" from Sally Beauty if you have one near you. I love this specific one better than any pumice I've used. I keep it in my tub and scrub my heels with it toward the end of my shower and they've never looked better.

I just bought the foot ointment. The Wal-Mart here didn't have the lotion. I will have to find the lotion.

    Is this the lotion?

Shea butter or shealoe butter. I use raw shea on my feet and cuticles and it killed the dry flaky toe look. Pumice works too.

Hi there! New to posting but have been lurking awhile. Awesome site!!! I also frequent another beauty board and they all RAVE over Vick's VapoRub. Slather it on at night, throw some socks on and go to bed. They swear that you wake up in the morning with beautifully soft feet. And it's cheap!

I really liked the ointment, too, but I like the lotion better because it's less greasy. The lotion I use is called Kerasal AL. You can see it here:
    http://www.drugstore.com/qxp147056_333181_sespider/kerasal_al/daily_foot_cream.htm

It never takes weeks for me to see results. As soon as you put it on, you can tell a difference. However, it did take a couple of months of the ointment and the pumice stone before all that thick skin was gone. The ointment was intense and really worked. Now that the thick skin is gone, I use the less greasy lotion to keep it soft.
