Jane Carter Conditioner vs Robert Craig Conditioner

in Hair Type 4
I received my Jane Carter products. I disliked all of the products and will return all of them.
I did like the shampoo and conditioner, but since they are part of a travel kit, I am returning them also.
I am tempted to buy the Robert Craig conditioner to replace my WEN Fig conditioner because the menthol in the WEN has started to bother my scalp.
What are the pros and cons of Jane Carter conditioner and Robert Craig Conditioner?
Does the RC have a strong fragrance?
Also, is RC similar to Elucence? I ask because I didn’t like Elucence.
Thanks for any information.

I feel you on the menthol in the WEN but I love the result so....tingle tingle. I rinse very thoroughly and never leave any in my hair.

Playing with my hair is a hobby. Fluffy, fine natural 4a. Goal= Healthy, beautiful hair that retains its length.
I think I am going to buy the RC conditioner. And now that I hardly have any hair, the bottle should last me 6 months.
The RC website has a flat $4.05 shipping through USPS. Not a bad deal.
Thanks!
How does the Robert Craig compare to the WEN?
Do you like the WEN better than RC?
My RC order should arrive early next week, and I cannot wait to try it.
Right now I am using Nature's Gate Grapefruit & Wild Ginger Fortifying Conditioner along with the AO Mandarin Jelly and getting good results...but I still want to have at least two conditioners that I alternate.
Poo: CON Sulfate Free poo
Rinse out: Tresemme Naturals
Leave-in: CJAOO Daily Cond
Styler: KCCC sparingly and Ampro Olive Oil Gel where needed
DT: KBB Lucious Locks Mask + EVOO/Avocado
Sounds like a nice combo.
You are asking me tough question, Windflower :? I've been using RC since December almost exclusively until Jada1111 raved about WEN Fig and I tried it. I love them equally but for different reasons. Right now I'm using more WEN I think because it is summer and I seem to do a lot more co-washing. WEN's drawback is that durn menthol; it's an irritant and must be rinsed out totally, so that may be a dealbreaker in the long term. RC I can use as a rinse out and a leave in, and I may try using it as a cowash. It's very versatile and I see myself using it for some time to come. It's also cheaper than WEN and color safe. I may be having a long term fling with WEN, but looks like I'm married to RC. Guess I'm just a product wh-re and lovin' it
If you go on their website there is a list of salons that use Robert Craig color; they may carry the conditioner too:

I like this analogy! I am hoping to be married to RC too.
When I called to get information about purchasing RC locally, the rep told me that the conditioner is only sold by RC. I would do as SBB suggested and call some of the salons and see if any of them carry it.
But the good news is that if you decide to purchase from RC, priority shipping via USPS is only $4.00 for any amount of products. For $2.05 extra, you can buy insurance for the package.
I will definitely post my results with RC.
I agree!
I am so tempted to write to WEN and request a version without menthol. It would be great to have that choice.
I like the RC, so far so good. It has a nice consistency with a very soft scent that disappears. Definitely worth the money...at least for the two times I have used it.
