Someone on this board posted about Yogatoes last year, and I bought some for my sister since she has bunions. She said she could hardly pry them away from her husband and son! I got a pair for myself also and I like them. If I remember to use them, they do make my feet feel good.

I have a partially joined second and third toe, so I can never use all the contraptions that separate the toes out. :(

Thanks for posting your thread -- I've ordered a pair of pink ones plus the kit for the Burt's Bees pedicure stuff. Feets, you're in for a treat!

    you're welcome SuZenGuide :D

fig jam let me know what you think after you've had a chance to use them! i think on the package it says wear them for a short amount of time then increase the time. your feet do feel a little ummm stretched when you first take them off...but that's the point.

enjoy ladies...i need to do a little foot loving myself!!

    Ack, so do I.

I don't quite understand how these "YogaToes" work, though. They just look painful, to me.

ETA: D'OH! I guess I could have clicked on "How YogaToes work" before I posted this!

Couldn't you use some of those pedicure toe separator thingies for the same purpose? My feet are so small though I doubt it'd be comfortable. Interesting though... I'm such a sucker for foot pain remedies. It'll be interesting to see what other curlies say about this.

lauraloo the pedicure thingies are separate but these REALLY SEPARATE. they use a gel/plastic type material so they really spread your toes and keep them that way...they really are nice. they have small sizes too..

Yes, you will really feel the stretch with these, much more than the pedicure toe separators. If you don't push them down all the way to the base of the toes the stretch is less, so you can work your way into the full stretch if it's uncomfortable at first.

These are very nice for people who squish their feet into pointy heels all day. It helps your toes straighten out again.

Have they actually made an improvement in your sister's bunions? I have them on both feet, as does my mother (she's had surgery on both feet twice now). We've considered trying them out.

I don't think so -- she really hasn't used them enough. I didn't really expect them to fix her bunions, just help her feet feel better.

I haven't been using my Yoga Toes like I should. They'd probably help with my knees & hips if I were consistent.

So what is the purpose of yogatoes? Why get them? What do they do?

I always feel compelled to go buy Yoga Toes after I read these threads. I really don't need them...my feet are fine...but they sure look like they'd feel good. I love stretching.

ANYWAY...I'm trying to stop myself. Maybe I'll get them for xmas. There are some eBay vendors selling them cheaper...$45 including shipping, rather than $49.99 plus $7 shipping at the official website. You just have to be careful and look for the authentic Yoga Toes among the listings, rather than knockoffs.

I bought what turned out to be knockoffs. I haven't used them very much at all. I have a slight hammer toe that needs a fixin....maybe I'll put them on in the tub tonight.

I've been tempted to try them, but I have a real bone phobia thing. I have a really bad fear of breaking toes or fingers (or any bone for that matter). I know YT doesn't break your bones, but it's borderline scary for me.
    I know that's stupid...:)

They are great after your toes have been scrunched in shoes all day. I find having my toes stretched relaxes my entire lower leg. I got mine for 1/2 price with a coupon in September. Maybe they'll run another one.

I was wearing mine last night. They really make my feet feel good after being squished into closed shoes all day.

I finally ordered these and I love them. I haven't gotten my SO or daughter to try them (chickens) but I'm sure one of these days when nobody else is around.........

Two thumbs up from me. My feet feel refreshed and stretched when I'm done. Thanks fig jam.

I used to work in a dance supply store and we had a pair to try (we never did order a full stock) and we loved them! Oh I wish I had ordered a pair for myself. They stretch everything and are perfect after a long day of dancing. I'll have to look into a pair. They worked great even on my short stubby toes.

So I finally caved and bought myself a pair of YogaToes. I can't wait for them to get here! I've been "practicing" with some regular pedicure toe stretcher things, and I'm not feeling a stretch anymore-- I was concerned that the YogaToes would hurt since my feet are so small, but I think I'll be alright now.

Anyone still using these regularly? Any improvement in foot pain, bunions, etc.?

BTW, if anyone is thinking about getting these, don't buy them without using a coupon code from RetailMeNot.com. I used the ALR2 code and saved $15!

I'm still using mine but not getting full benefit because I don't use them as often as I should. My feet feel very good and relaxed after I use them, and I wish I would get more disciplined about it because I have a tendency toward hammertoes. They're supposed to help with that.

My problem is, once I put them on I can't walk in them, and I don't want to sit still for an hour!!

I use mine on a regular basis, but only for 30 minutes. I'm like fig jam - I just don't take enough time for myself.
