PM Sculpting Foam

Is the PM Sculpting foam CG friendly and protein-free? I had read somewhere that somebody likes it as much as the Joiwhip. I had great results for the first 3 days of using Joiwhip then it went downhill (darn proteins!)

I used to use the PM but that was back in the days when I blew my hair dry w/out a diffuser (or brush). Worked well enough then, if you can believe that! It would probably work great for me now that I have learned all kinds of techniques from this board. But I don't want to use it if it's not CG.

I use PM Sculpting Foam, and I would consider myself modified CG. It has cones, but they are water soluable. Co-washing rinses in out fine for me.

I've been using the PM foam with some HE SMU mousse over it and have been really liking it. It has PEG modified dimethicone and one of the ingredients is wheatgermamidopropyl something or other which sounds like a protein to me but it doesn't seem to bother my hair which can be sensitive to some proteins. My hair hated the keratin in Joiwhip.
3b/c fine, thick, porous, protein sensitive
Modified CG, CJ Rehab, JCWDT, KCKT, VO5 Chamomile Tea Therapy, CJDF, HEBE Gel/Mousse, Bioinfusion Rosemary Mint shampoo, occasional protein

    I LOVE this!
Yes, it has some water soluble cones, but not very much of it IMO.
Very curly hair with this one & the only hairstyling I've actually emptied.
    Great stuff!
(I use it on its own)

Oh, thank goodness!!! I decided to revisit mousse and I really loved this one when I first went curly. Then I stopped because I thought it was full of insoluable cones. I saw a curly at work the other day and asked what she used and she said mousse! So, I had to pull out my PM Sculpting foam! Boy am I glad its's CG, with coes that rinse out!

I need to locate the PM sculpting foam that is for firm hold. I only have the medium in the house and I love the volume I get from mousse but need a bit more hold! I used the medium yesterday and put gel over it but I would prefer not to use a gel so I will have to look for the firm hold one!

OK, you evil enabler people! I'm so going to have to try this one too. I really like the PM Round Trip so thinking I might have to try this as well.
