Mohawk!

My 6 year old has been begging for a Mohawk, and last night I relented.
I did not, however, give into his request to Mohawk the dog  .

Thanks, guys. I have a late session this evening so the kids have dinner at my mom's house. She's a little, uh, conservative about appearance, so I'm sure I'll get an earful about how inappropriate it is  .

I mean, it's just hair. There are plenty of other things that I've said no to (like the tattoo of a tiger and purple fire on his forehead  )

My nephew has gone through phases of wanting hobbit hair and rock star hair, and my sister just shrugs and says, it will grow out, let him get it out of his system. These days, what could a kid possibly do to his hair that would be worth getting upset about?

Long, untidy, slightly curly hair like the hobbits in the Lord of the Rings movies. Apparently this was very popular at his school for a while.

That is so cool. There's no point in wasting your energy telling him no on little stuff that doesn't matter, there's far more important things to worry about.

That's awesome! Hey, why not - it's not like it's 2 feet high and magenta!

He looks absolutely adorable. (In a badass kind of way!)

I foresee a wave of mohawks in his class!!!

Ummm, yeah, only he asked if I could spike it up more, and for some orange hairspray.:lol::lol: . Sorry, dude, not enough hair.
The orange spray, maybe. I looked at some, it washes out with one shampoo.

I have a pic of my nephew with green in his hair and my sis (his mom) with orange in hers. Yes, it washes out!

My son wanted that when he had a mohawk. He said he wanted a reddish flaming mohawk
