I've decided to take all my half-used bottles of shampoo and use them.....

1. As laundry detergent

2. As hand soap

???? any other ideas ????

I use mine as shower/shave gel, but I add olive oil to mine in the bottle and if you shake it up it makes a nice creamy body wash that won't dry you out as bad and it keeps until it is gone!

Like that idea! I have a bottle of Jason I will never use; I'm adding castor oil to it.

Me too! He smelled so pretty for longest time. That was about a year ago though, since I've been CG for awhile now.

3B that is no longer CG, but still endeavors to have healthy hair by not using sulfates.

How about using it as bubble bath? I haven't tried that, but it seems like a good idea.

I've really relieved that I can actually use them for something else... I had all but thrown them out. (they're sitting in a box with my hairbrush and my flat-iron)

The 'cone laden conditioners, I use for shaving creams. But I thought that the shampoos wouldn't be good for anything.

I had half a bottle of years-old Aura aromatherapy shampoo. I don't think they make this the same anymore -- it smells incredible, and I think it was the knockoff of Aveda Shampure, or at least it smells like it. However it is full of sulfates. I used it to wash my hand washables, including my yoga and running gear. The scent really lingers and when I'm exercising I will get these great whiffs of the scent, it smells so good! Now that it's gone, I'd love to buy another bottle just for my laundry! Next, I'll be using up my Terax Miel (sulfate) shampoo, which smells great, like honey.
The question for me is, what will I do with the gels & curl creams my PJ makes me buy now, if I find some that I end up not liking?? :?
2-something? Coarse, medium underneath. Mid-back. On CG since 5/9/07.

I use gels and creams that I don't like on days when I'm not leaving the house or to slick my hair back for updos. If the product is completely useless to me, then I give it to my straight-haired mom or sister  .
