graduation hair

So my graduation is tonight...and I have a dilemma. Should I straighten so my hair does not poof (pouf? hmm...) out under my silly hat? Anyone have any graduation-hair suggestions? They would be much appreciated...

What about a low bun - a bun low on the nape of your neck? That way you can get the hat on and not have to worry about hat head.

Or a low ponytail with tendrils in the front.

It depends on well you can get it to stay straight. When I graduated HS, I still straightened my hair, but it was really humid that day. Needless to say, my hair got quite frizzy even though it was shiny and smooth that morning.
