Starting over

Hi every one, I just wanted to get back into this group. I was transitioning for about 7 months, but gave in and got another relaxer. Last one was in January. So what's every one's stand on mouse? Cuz that's about the only thing I can get to tame my fro with. Any other ideas?

Welcome! Nice new growth coming thru. Mousse does nothing for my all natural 4a hair. I use a creamy leave in and a gel -- [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/CURLS-Curls-Milkshake-p-884.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=Curls-Curls-Milkshake]Curls Milkshake[/buylink] or Aveda Elixir under Aubrey Organics Mandarin Magic. When I was transitioning from a relaxed 3c, I used Curlisto Control II combined with Structura, or alone over Ouidad Botanical Boost and then unscrunced hair when dry. That worked well on my relaxed hair and new growth. I also used Paul Mitchell Sculpting Foam but that was for all 3c relaxed hair.

Playing with my hair is a hobby. Fluffy, fine natural 4a. Goal= Healthy, beautiful hair that retains its length.
Hear that crash? It's me falling off the CG wagon.

Thanks! That will really help a lot since I have these two different textures going on.

You have alot of growth for somebody who last relaxed in January, CurlyKink. I was looking at your photos and your hair looks very healthy.

Right now I don't think I have enough growth to really use mousse. My relaxed ends looks nasty when I apply mousse.

I was really surprised how well my hair is doing this time around. As for the growth rate, I'm on thyroid hormones so I read some where that that will sometimes stimulate hair growth... it's given me a "pregnancy mask" so at least something good should come out of it lol.
