With all that's going on in the world I really am interested in reading from a soldier's point of view. This guy was stationed in Afghanistan after 9/11.
Sounds interesting
I've had bosses recommend Talking From 9 To 5 by Deborah Tannen and Nice Girls Don't Get Corner Offices By Dr. Lois Frankel
Anyone read any of them?
For the book for the month, I'd like to recommend a fun one..... The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger.
Amazon.com summary:
-Speckla
But at least the pews never attend yoga!
Brick Lane by Monica Ali
The Coma by Alex Garland
The Book of Illusions by Paul Austeur
I'd go with Brick Lane, The Devil Wears Prada, Women of the Silk, One Man's Army and Le Divorce.

MrsP - I read this awhile back at your rec and loved it. Did you know she has a sequel to it? It's called The Language of Threads. I plan on reading it soon.
The Devil Wears Prada was good too. Fun and easy reading.
On the Beach - by Nevil Shute
The Quality of Life Report - by Meghan Daum
My Life and Hard Times - by James Thurber
Among Schoolchildren - by Tracy Kidder
Have you read The Bonesetter's Daughter by Any Tan? It's on clearance at Borders so I was going to pick it up. I remember you said you're on an Asian kick... I loved her other book, The Kitchen God's Wife--I couldn't put it down.
