I really want to find a conditioner similar to Elucence and Trader Joe's nourish but I don't have access to either. A lot of people are raving about them on these boards and I really want the same experiences. Have you tried a conditioner similar to Elucence and Trader Joe's that I don't have to order online?
Thanks!!!

I don't know if this helps, but I think that Kenra and Elucence are either co-owned or one owns the other. Maybe a search for their reviews might help. I've seen Kenra at Ulta and at salons in my neck of the woods.

I'd like to find a conditioner that is similar too. I LOVE the elucence, but I'd like to find something that I can just run out to the store and buy - instead of having it delivered...
mostly coarse texture, normal porosity... I think?

The only other conditioner I can think of that is similar is Tigi Moisture Maniac. Not good for using as a leave in(for me), but gives good slip.
A wonderful mix of coils, curls, corkscrews, and kinks.

the kenra moisturing conditioner is very good. its a bit heaviner than elucence in my opinion. (kenra owns elucence i believe). they sell kenra products at the walmart salons in my area so maybe you can check yours!

Thanks subbrock! I'll try out the Kenra...

eccentric_kurlz: I've thought about purchasing the Tigi Moisture Maniac before - but I figured that I'd stick to a product that I knew I liked... If the Kenra doesn't work out - then maybe I'll try the TMM...

    Thanks :D

I know that I am sooooo late in posting this but:
I've tried the Kenra and it is very similar to the Elucence. Subbrock - I agree that it is thicker than the elucence. My hair is just as soft and moisturized (maybe more moisturized?) after using it. I might just switch over to Kenra if I can continue to find it locally and cheap. When I bought it, Trade secret was having a buy one-get one half off sale.

The Tigi MM is what i use for a leave-in. I tried using only the TMM as my conditioner - but my hair needs something thicker and with more protein. It is very slippery and moisturizing and is great for detangling. so I either use a tiny dab of it as a leave in or in a spray bottle with some water.

    - Just wanted to add my two cents!

I was thinking of trying the Trader Joe and Elucence. Maybe I'll try the Kenra instead. I like the idea of being able to get it on the ground too, and if it moisturizes just as good.....why not? Thanks girls!

I have used both. I think I like Elucence better because it's a good leave-in for me. However, I also dislike having to order hair care products and try to avoid when possible.

I get my Elucence from a local salon. It's not in my neighborhood but it's not too far away. I suggest you check their website to see if there is a salon in your area that carries it. Also, be sure to call the customer service number and ask for additional distributors. I say this because the listing on the website in not all inclusive.
