I don't know about a product....but many people on here claim that brushing their hair with conditioner gives them great clumps using a denman brush.

I get better clumping by smoothing/scrunching my products in rather than raking, and by applying products to soaking wet hair.

For me, things with peach kernel oil give me very good clumping.

Does the peach kernel oil work as well for you in the summer as in the winter? I'm very tempted to order some of this, but I'm a little concerned that the oil might weigh me down in the summer.

I also find that when I squelch the temptation to squeeze my hair dry a little in the shower, it also clumps bettter, i.e. apply product on dripping wet hair with my head upside down in the shower.

And thanks msgiblet! I had that bottom straight layer of my hair cut off the very next day and I figured out that the stylist also cut layers into my hair. On those pics, I had just gotten a Ouidad carve and slice. I'm really hoping the layers didn't mess my curl pattern up. I'll post more recent pics soon. Still waiting on those Mop Top products- can't wait to try!

Well, I'll let you know in a few months...

I did a little experimeting with it last year and it gave me nice clumps. Now that I using poo again, I'm using Elucence poo and condish, both of which contain peach kernel oil. Nothing short of totally coating my hair in about 1/4 cup of coconut oil weighs my hair down, so I can't speak to that aspect. I have tough hair.

My hair always clumps better with honey in the conditioner. Oh and if I comb or brush when wet, I get stringy nasty curls, and my hair stretches and splits if I do that too, so not a good move for me.

I have found I get good clumps if, when applying products, I grab fistfuls of hair and sort of pull the stuff through from root to tip. It seems to press the hairs together and coax them to clump.

I like the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Elucence-Moisture-Benefits-Shampoo-p-36.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=elucence-elucence-moisture-benefits-shampoo]Elucence Moisture benefits Shampoo[/buylink] (but not everyone poos) and the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/Elucence-Moisture-Balancing-Conditioner-p-39.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=elucence-elucence-moisture-balancing-conditioner]Moisture Balancing Conditioner[/buylink], which is cg safe.

I hear plenty of raves about Back to Basics peach Pomegranate conditioner - another cg option.

ETA - the Eluence has protein, and, IIRC, the B2B is protein free if that is an issue.

I get nice clumps if I condition with B2B peach pomegrante, smooth on my leave in and scrunch in my styler. The best clumping leave ins for me are GF C&S and PM the conditioner. Thanks to Medussahair :D
