Is there a recipe for re:coil?

I don't think I can use [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/AG-Recoil-p-24.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=ag-hair-cosmetics-recoil-curl-activator]re:coil[/buylink] even though I love how much curl it gives me. By the end of the week my hair looks dry (doesn't feel dry, though) and I think it's because of the protein in it.

So I end up having to do an acv rinse which my hair LOVES, but doing that makes my color go away (and I need to color because I have major grey even though I'm only 30  ).

Which means I either need a recipe for a good curl enhancer like [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/AG-Recoil-p-24.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=ag-hair-cosmetics-recoil-curl-activator]re:coil[/buylink] (Jessicurl's RR doesn't really work either) that doesn't have proteins in it or I need a clarifying rinse that will get rid of the protein build-up but not my color.

Are there such things??

Have you tried lemon juice instead of acv. I know a lot of people prefer it because of smell and I think the lemon juice makes you hair shiny and maybe a bit lighter.
