looking for a sulfate free/cone free poo that sold at health store versus the internet. Some that are sulfate free, I notice contain cones. Any input? tia

Burt's Bee Baby Shampoo and Rosemary Mint Shampoo Bar. I love Aubrey Organics, but they do have a mild cleanser. HTH

The Desert Essence line is good. Their organics line doesn't have sulphates (or so their website says)

I have the Italian Red Grape Shampoo.

    I second the giovanni's ones.

I've found the 50/50 moisturising shampoo/conditioner tag-team to REALLY soften, smooth and moisturise hair, much more so than co-washing and then using the 50/50 conditioner. It's shocked the hell outta me! It's sulphate and cone free, no hidden nasties. Great stuff, and lovely gentle scent :D

    Giovanni, Giovanni, Giovanni! <3

I'm not too keen on the Burt's Bees hair products, aside from the avocado treatment.
If I had to pick one, I guess I liked the color safe 'poo best. The conditioners were all crap on my hair though. :P

I like Desert Essence Organics. I haven't tried the Italian Red Grape 'poo but I loooove the conditioner.

HEAD Organics Clearly Head Shampoo. I see this brand in the natural food section of quite a few of my grocery stores but not sure I ever saw the shampoo (Whole foods carries I am pretty sure) - I got it online.

I haven't tried it yet, but I recently bought a bottle of J/A/S/O/N shampoo that boasts no sulfates. Sounds promising at least.

You can find them at Wal-mart/Meijer.

I used to love the Avalon Organics Lavender shampoo but then it seems like they changed the formula (added oat protein?) and my hair stopped loving it. Right now, I'm liking Alba Very Emollient Shampoo.

I have started using Dr. Bronner's All One liquid castile soap (the Almond and Hemp variety). It's dirt cheap and because it's concentrated it lasts for aaaages.

I dilute a couple squirts in some water then put it in a spray bottle which I keep in the shower. I put conditioner in my hair then (depending on how dirty my hair/scalp feels) I spray a little onto my roots and work it through the hair on the top of my head only OR I mix a little of the solution with some conditioner and clean my scalp with it. It's wonderous :D

Creme of Nature Detangling Conditioning is great.
After swimming/beach I use this sulfate-free swimmer's shampoo. It's cleansing but gentle, although I do have to use some extra conditioner when I use it. I forget the name, I'll have to check it later.
