I hate ROSS FOR LESS clothes!! (Rant)

Even though I tried them on at the store, for some reason when I put them on to wear out in the street EVERYTHING IS WRONG!!! :x The fit, cut, length is just plain awful. You don't notice until you start wearing them throughout the day. For example, I bought a pair of stylish sweatpants that looked great in the dressing room, but right now they are bunching around my stomach and falling low on my hips!! :x The top I bought is no better. It keeps riding up and if I'm not pulling these pants up, then I'm pulling this shirt down. :(

Never, never, never again. There's a REASON why these clothes are marked down so low at this store and others like it. They're irregular!

I'll just pay full price for decent fitting clothes. Hell with this discount stuff!

Thanks for letting me vent! :)

I've gotten a lot of good stuff there, shoes too. Sorry you had a bad experience.

This is my least frequented "dress for less" store. Oddly enough, I have had excellent luck finding formal/semiformal dresses. Shoes and other stuff--forget it. I have way better luck with T.J. Maxx and Marshall's.

Are you a size 8 or under? Then maybe you can find some good things, but size 12 and up clothes are not working. Their accessories cute.

No, I'm not. It also seems to depend on the Ross. They have 3 near me and only 1 is worthwhile.

IC is right-it DEFINITELY depends on the store!

I've been in three or four, and only one is really worth entering. It's amazing how the same store in different locations with different managers can be so drastically different!

Ugh, I HATE Ross...only once have I ever found something I liked in there (I've only bought something a couple of times - do that math  ) and they NEVER EVER have more than like 4 things in a size 0 or 2. Ugh. It's the one place I don't want to go shopping. I could go on about how I find the store overall to be really ugly, etc., but you get the idea.
    OMG, LOOK!!

    ...It's a siggie.

I love Ross it's my favorite store!
You don't have to blow out my flame to make yours burn brighter.

When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself.

How people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours.

I like the one near my work for bedding. I got a really nice Nautica comforter for 50. I saw the same thing at bed bath and beyond a week later for 150. Of course the one at Ross was marked irregular but I can't see anything wrong with it. I also find cute Guess purses there(my favorite purse brand) which I don't find at TJmaxx or marshalls.
